most religion buffs will tell you that they don't. but in my opinion there is no way that a dog doesn't have a soul. anything with that much heart, compassion, personality and loyalty has a soul. that being said i know my dog is looking down on me from a better place, perhaps old riggins can push a few buttons in doggie heaven this season and lead the skins to the promised land.

I have to vote YES. i'm not too educated on religion at all so i don't really have anything to substantiate my belief on but they definitely have souls.

Riggins was a very cool dog and i'm sure he is looking down on us. now if he can pull some strings with the football gods he's "Sir Riggins" to me!

[glow=red,2,300]I don't know. I want to say yes, but at the same time....I have 3 cats & have had cats all my life. Having a soul would indicate a conscience. Animals would have to feel some sort of pity for something in that case. I don't think they are "designed" that way. I do, however, believe they have spirits. This indicates to me that they go to Heaven when they die. Animals generally only care about eating, sleeping, mating, & dying. A soul would only complicate their roles in life. But I definately believe that they have spirits.[/glow]
