I'd like to recognize these guys (among others) in their efforts yesterday while I was somewhat slippin. It's been a tough week starting work, and these guys stepped it up this Sunday.
Gibby was off only a few hours of sleep and put up an impressive performance of cooking that had me in awe. I know they fed a lot of hungry DTCers, and The President's contributions really helped out our tailgate.
The Mayor put some work in for this Sunday. Preparing with a full night's sleep is something I have yet to do, and it shows dedication to the tailgate. The Mayor was high energy all day and that was noticed by surrounding tailgates.
The Head Coach came up big with a blazing rap track that had everyone bobbing their heads. A lot of people don't know it, but just one of those tracks takes days and days to produce, and Coach did it on limited time but made it sound like the best of the best.
Bottom line is, we have the best group of people around. We are the hardest and strongest. And while it is a peripheral part of the day, just riding in the Tahoe with the Mayor and President is always fun.
Not sure how we'll do MVP for DTC Tailgate #2, but these guys all deserve their props.

Much appreciated Mr. CEO It is my pleasure to do these things and I am glad the tailgate was once again a success. I would like to say that the Coach was MVP! While they Mayor did a great job, his best days are ahead of us when we play teams like the eagles, giants, cowbitches and other team that have more opposing fans. The Coach's hard work should be recognized this week!

I agree that the Coach's hard work should be recognized. He also kept the cone bong going strong when I was zonin elsewhere.
We need an agreed upon system for determining this award every week.

Thanks a lot for the nod for MVP. I had a great time and enjoyed the day to the fullest. I do believe that I can give a little more each week. Did anyone see the DTC Sign in the Stadium? Did anyone at home see it, by that I mean did the camera pick it up at any time? We need to find a way to secure it on the glass but we won't be able to tie it up (nothing to tie it to) we are going to have to tape it up.

I actually saw DaCoach waving that flag around in the stadium. I loved it! Daghost and I were sitting right next to each other and had great views of the Coach in action. Every single good play he was standing up representing the DTC. Even though he accidentally hit me in the face with the rolled up banner on the way into the stadium, we'll still give him MVP for Tailgate #2 Also, for the 49ers game, I will plan ahead on a way to get a banner into the stadium. Where I sit (next to the fence) is the perfect place to hang a big banner. Which brings me to my next question: Brian, what did they take from you upon your entrance into the stadium? The yellow rope? That stuff is too thick anyways. I am thinking next tailgate we bring small plastic zip ties and scissors to cut them. That will reduce the amount of effort involved in hanging banners on tents at the tailgate, and will be easy to transport into the stadium going undetected. They are easy to get off with scissors as well. Set up would take maybe 3 minutes with these instead of huge yarn. The CEO will be in charge of this next game.

they did take the rope. i thought it was too big to hide so i just kept it in my hands and i got into the game but a cop stopped me very soon after going through the turnstile. he said i couldn't have it just incase i wanted to tie a seahawk up. i understood cause the thought had crossed my mind. we aren't going to be able to tie it up even with zip ties we need tape. we'll be ready next home game.

i'd like to say thanks to all my DTC friends for yet another great tailgate/game experience.... Mr. President, thanks for the great BBQ ribs... Mr. Mayor, thanks for keeping the parking lot live as usual... Mr. CEO, thanks your crucial timing on the "festivities" after the game.... SOC, well done on the punch.... and Coach, thanks for all you did this week from the cone, to the banner, to laying down the newest track.... this was definitely one to remember...
